A friend and I were playing an online game together against two AI's. At one point my game crashed and we had to both quit the game and rejoin later. Then we started chatting on the game, and he remarked that he was going to lose on of his planets to hostile culture. Only on my screen, he wasn't. On his side of the game, he told me he lost the planet to hostile culture, but on my side, it was actually gaining culture. It was like we were playing completely different games.
